Update: 15th May 2019

Silvio is responding to treatment and his neck glands are shrinking down. He eats like a horse. He came from a place where a man set his dogs on him and people threw stones at him, so he is learning to adjust to humans not hurting him. He is still a little scared, but is getting used to his new life

Silvio

This is Silvio who has come to us from AnimalClub Puerto de la Cruz. He has been living in a colony in the North but is struggling. He is blind in one eye, has only three working legs, has an infection in his testicles, a lump in his neck which may be cancer (we are investigating), is both leukaemia and Feline aids positive and getting on in years (we think about 10). Despite all that he has a zest for life and we are gong to try and help him. Those that follow our page know that we try to help the most sick, small and vulnerable cats and kittens in Tenerife. Those that other organisations struggle to help either through lack of expertise or lack of foster carers available with the skills to care for them. Thank you for following our work and supporting us.
